Salary Range: $89,619 - $109,767

Essential Functions and Objectives:

Manages a team of workplace investigators to ensure the District’s compliance with the full range of federal, state, local laws related to non-discrimination and equal opportunity requirements and other district policies and employee expectations. Ensures that the District achieves its goal of providing an open, diverse and inclusive learning and working environment by conducting prompt, thorough, and objective investigations.


- Responsible for providing leadership, coordination and oversight of the District’s compliance with non-discrimination, equal opportunity and Title IX requirements in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations.

- Acts as an investigator in high-level, complex District investigations as needed.

- Ensures appropriate, complete responses and resolutions are carried out for all reports of misconduct falling under the purview of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office.

- Continuously identifies and integrates best practices with regards to EEO investigations and stays abreast of current developments in conducting investigations.

- Directs, evaluates and manages staff engaged in conducting investigations.

- Develops and implements training relative to the District’s, federal and state anti-harassment and non-discrimination laws, regulations, policies and procedures.



Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

- Two (2) or more years of management responsibility experience.

- Five (5) or more years experience conducting employee misconduct investigations, including Title IX investigations.

- Experience in the development and facilitation of training programs, informational materials and stakeholder consultations

- Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws related to Title IX, discrimination, harassment and retaliation

- Strong organizational and analytic skills and strong attention to detail

- Self-starter/leader who can anticipate department needs in a proactive (versus, reactive) manner

- Proven ability to handle multiple investigations simultaneously

- Ability to motivate and influence others

- High degree of integrity in handling confidential information

- Ability to effectively lead a team

- Ability to develop and interpret data and manage resources

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to lead a high-performing team

- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Google Workspace

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs. Google Sheets, Google Slides.


Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree required.
