MUSC Health – Columbia Medical Centers are actively seeking PRN Cardiac-Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to become integral members of our expanding anesthesia practice in vibrant Columbia, South Carolina.

As a Cardiac CRNA at MUSC Health, you’ll collaborate within a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesia Care Team that includes experienced CRNAs and anesthesiologists, all committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We will provide:

Minimum Training, Education, and Experience:

  • Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
  • The minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:

  • Must be recognized as an APRN or be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) require either a certification from an American Health Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Provider.
