The Sr Marketing Manager is responsible for the acquisition strategy for Small and Mid-Size (SMB) businesses. In this leadership role, you will manage and develop a growing segment team. You will set plans to achieve targets and goals established by the business. You develop data-driven marketing strategies and look for innovative ways to drive demand and to make a meaningful impact on the business. Brings forward relevant research, insights and competitive intelligence for the SMB segment. The SMB marketing program aligns with quarterly marketing and sales goals to support segment growth. Solid familiarity with b2b marketing tactics, including digital media, sales and marketing automation, account based marketing, field management, effective sales enablement and forging a tight partnership with sales. You and your team are responsible for generating demand among SMB, business products and solutions and services. You will partner with teams across the organization to develop successful programs that focus on lead generation, fuel the sales pipeline, and support conversion. Requires strong communication and analytical skills.


  • Develops marketing plans and business cases the communication and distribution of  the value propositions.  Prepares annual business plans for the defined strategies and the development/implementation of key Marketing strategies.  Leads development and implementation of tactical action plans.

  • Ensures that financial goals are met or exceeded, including return on investment.

  • Ensures maximum market potential through in-depth understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and market requirements for current, new and future markets. Defines market positioning and recommends pricing strategy.  Defines and develops marketing strategies that will win in the marketplace through alignment with customer needs.

  • Partners with creative merchandising and advertising on creation of world-class advertising and collateral. The role requires strong cross functional partnership across the enterprise; specifically with sales, product management, finance, and operations leadership to ensure flawless execution and to create one look and feel for T-Mobile.

  • Manages a team of Segment Marketing Managers.  Provides coaching, direction and leadership to team members.

  • Identifies acquisition opportunities based on business targets, macro environment, seasonal insights, competitive landscape, existing and forthcoming T-Mobile for Business value prop levers, and business performance.

  • Acts as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and relevant partners during strategy formulation, development, and execution. Prepares presentations for various audiences ranging from peers to executive level.

  • Influence on offer priorities to meet consumer needs and market opportunities.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

  • Evaluate and implement opportunities to evolve online tactics with the goal to optimize lead to conversion rates and deal size.

  • Partner with marketing, operations and business insight teams to establish, forecast and report against key success metrics

  • Continually evaluate and iterate on campaigns, identify trends and insights to increase efficiency & effectiveness.

  • Works with teams to measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies, test and tap into new and innovative paid digital channels.

  • Develop & guide targeting approaches & contact rules.  Collaborates with agencies and vendor partners.

  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Qualifications : ?

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • MBA preferred

  • 7-10 years Marketing experience

  • 4-7 years Consumer focused marketing experience

  • 2-4 years Management experience

  • 4-7 years Experience in one or more of the following categories: software/hardware, web, telecommunications, consumer electronics, or consumer packaged goods, with a focus on Marketing, Product Management or Sales

  • 1-7 years Business to business & digital marketing.  Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement

  • 1- years Demonstrable experience leading and managing multi channel, multi touch paid media campaigns required

  • Knowledge of ad platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Microsoft Advertising, PowerBI, Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends) required

  • Strong understanding of the Demand Gen Waterfall, the Salesforce Platform, the mechanics of lead routing and corresponding best practices in a B2B environment required

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law.
