100% grant funded position is currently one year to start, any extensions will be contingent on funding, needs of the lab, and performance.

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience including demonstrated proficiency in managing a mouse colony, as well as performing surgical and behavioral experiments with mice. In addition, this position will assist with ordering, goods receipting, and organizing goods within the lab. Other duties as needed or assigned. Experience with molecular techniques (cloning, western blotting, tissue culture, etc.) is preferred. Typical work hours are from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM with an unpaid ½ hour for lunch, however, on occasion work hours may vary.


Applicants should have strong communication, interpersonal, and animal handling skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
