Job Summary: Active duty Marine for Boot Camp Instructor at MUSC Wellness Center.

Job Duties:

  • 30% - Enthusiastic about group exercise classes and enjoy creating and delivering new, fresh and innovative routines. Confident in professionalism by reporting on-time with a positive attitude to motivate others. A professional who is collaborative and a flexible leader in and out of the studio. - (Essential)
  • 35% - Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to member needs and concerns. Effectively discusses and explains the benefits of Cycling. Consistently meets daily class attendance goals. Participates in special events, takes classes as part of the team, and engages with the other team members. Complies with all company safety rules. Assists in keeping Cycle Studio clean and organized at all times. - (Essential)
  • 35% - Deliver entertaining, inspiring, effective, and professional cycling classes to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals. Rides with and monitors students to ensure correct form and proper intensity. Demonstrates proficiency in using digital music technology Provides current music that is well planned with the ride profile Attentively listens to members, answers questions, and engages in conversation before and after classes. - (Essential)

Preferred Experience & Additional Skills: Requires leading industry cycling certification such as: SPIN, Schwinn, NETA, GEAR, etc. Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience, Group Fitness or Personal Trainer certification & experience a plus. CPR/AED cert required. Certification must have current. CPR certification is also desired.
