  • JOB SUMMARY
    • The chief objective of this position:

      • Performs routine electroneurodiagnostic procedures using established protocols and procedures in a clinical lab, inpatient and epilepsy unit setting including EEG, AEEG, and EMU. Specialty procedures performed are Polysomnogram, Wada Testing, EP, NCV testing, as well as intraoperative monitoring of EEG, EP, EMG and NCV procedures. Serves as the technical resource for the END Tech I.
    • Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:

      • American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoke Potential Technologist (ABRET) registry in at least one (1) AMA approved electroneurodiagnostic field
    • Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:

      • Current ABRET, AAET or AANEM registry in one (1) AMA approved electroneurodiagnostic field
      • Current CPR certification
    • Experience REQUIRED:

      • Minimum of 1 year of basic medical, patient care related experience
      • Experience and proficiency in two (2) electroneurodiagnostic modalities (e.g. EEG, AEEG, EMU, Polysomnogram, etc.)
    • Experience PREFERRED

      • Two or more years of work experience in electroneurodiagnostic lab setting
    • Education/training REQUIRED: (Note: work experience may be considered in lieu of credentials not required by law with HR approval. Work experience must be specific to role)

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Education/training PREFERRED:

      • Graduate of Electroneurodiagnostic Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program
