The Harrisburg School District will be offering: Kindergarten Summer Bridge Programming for incoming Kindergarten students of the Harrisburg School District
Programming Dates (M, T, W, only):
July 29 - July 31
8:30 - 12:30
Teachers: $36.00 per hour
All Staff must attend up to 8 hours of paid mandatory professional development/prep hours
Teacher Time: 8:15 - 12:45

MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must possess a valid PA teaching certificate and may not be on any improvement plan. Candidates must have a proven record of growing students in core content areas; ability to be actively involved with parents in the program by establishing rapport via phone calls; monitoring progress regarding student school day academics; excellent oral and written communication skills; and the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents. This position is for internal candidates only; however, long-term substitutes with an established rapport with the District may be considered. In addition, the hired candidate must be able to work all three days in order to provide continuity for students.
SALARY: $36.00 per hour during program
