JOB SUMMARY

This position supports district leadership and educators by coaching them on how to effectively interpret and apply student achievement data to inform instructional decisions. By training staff on digital learning platforms, AI tools, and assessment systems, the coordinator ensures the consistent and effective integration of technology into classrooms. Additionally, the coordinator plays a key role in the planning and monitoring of district and school-level assessments, ensuring fidelity in implementation and accuracy in reporting outcomes that guide instructional improvements.

Essential Functions Serves as an instructional technology and data coach for District leadership and professional employees to build their capacity to use data on student academic achievement to increase and sustain academic achievement for all students. Supports the successful alignment and implementation of school and District priorities in student academic achievement. Assist in planning and coordinating district- and school-level assessments. Provide training and support to staff on assessment tools, AI tools, digital learning and data management platforms, and instructional technology. Monitor and report assessment implementation fidelity and outcomes. Works with District leadership to coordinate efforts for data-management services in schools so that there can be a cohesive, sustained, intensive and classroom-focused approach.

Provides access to student data and assists faculty in maximizing use of data in analyzing and addressing areas of weakness in student achievement and sustaining and increasing achievement in areas of strength in student achievement. Facilitates conversations about academic data with district leadership and professional employees.

Provides support to content supervisors and instructional coaches in the interpretation and use of student data to improve instruction.

Works collaboratively and constructively with school and District personnel. Provides professional development, technical assistance, program monitoring and fulfills special requests for assistance relating to data on student academic achievement. Analyzes assessment results with District staff.

Promotes and supports implementation of District and school improvement and accountability systems. Assists District and school’s leadership team with determining appropriate evaluation of data and establishing targets for student and school improvement activities.

Assists with the development of support and improvement plans required by law or District policy. Conducts data reviews in selected schools and provides follow-up assistance and professional development based on areas of need.

Interprets graphs, reports, and numerical scores, as needed, for understanding and reporting school and District data. Assists with the preparation of reports as requested.

Maintains confidentiality with all District information, including District and school population information.

Keeps informed of the latest research in the field and participates in ongoing professional development related to the position.

Provide support to the Supervisor of School Improvement for Summer School and After school programming

Performs in accordance with school policy, administrative regulations, state and federal laws.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary in accordance with ACT 93 agreement. Range F: $83,564 - $110,476
