JOB SUMMARY
This role oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of school improvement plans, offering direct support to schools in aligning their efforts with district goals.
Essential Functions
Directs and monitors school improvement plans, providing support and guidance to schools to enhance student outcomes and achieve district goals.
Ensure Federally funded and designated schools meet or exceed compliance requirements.
Support the successful alignment and implementation of school and District priorities in student academic achievement.
Support the Federally funded and designated schools with the implementation and continued execution of PBIS and MTSS.
Support ongoing professional development for teachers and administrative staff at federal funded and designated schools through individual coaching and evidence-based strategy recommendations.
Analyze test data and make recommendations for curricular and instructional changes to support federal funded and designated schools.
Make recommendations for scientific research-based tiered interventions in the MTSS process.
Assists schools in the development of school comprehensive plan through a needs assessment and steering committee meetings.
Ensures the creation of school improvement comprehensive plan timeline and collaborates monthly with the statewide school improvement team.
Keep appropriate records for all areas of responsibility, and coordinate completion and submission of required and appropriate local, state, and federal reports.
Inputs school improvement plans into FRCPP for review and approval and assists in the tracking of school budget spend downs.
Manages and coordinates the school comprehensive plans goals through quarterly meetings and offer support to enhance staff and student achievement.
Works with the Office of Academics and Accountability to identify strengths and weaknesses in the areas of teaching and learning, and school improvement planning. Conducts bi-weekly learning walks with administrators at federal funded and designated schools and offer feedback and support.
Attend, as necessary and appropriate, training sessions and site meetings related to assigned responsibilities.
Performs in accordance with school policy, administrative regulations, state and federal laws. Performs other duties as assigned.
Certifications: Valid Administrative Certification - required
Salary in accordance with the ACT 93 agreement. Range D: $101,471 - $133,718
