Description Early Childhood Assistant (Partners in Play) Location: Early Childhood Center
Position: Hours as needed – based on enrollment FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Open Date: 6/9/2025 Closing Date: 6/16/2025
Starting Pay: $16.22 per hour

Essential Job Functions:
Support and assist Partners in Play (PIP) teachers with set up and clean up in accordance with lesson plans. Supervise young children 6 weeks through 5 years in Family Classes. Maintain and replenish classrooms; communicate appropriately with teachers, parents, children, and colleagues; help with office work as needed; attend training and staff meetings; and perform other duties as assigned by the PIP Teacher, Early Childhood Coordinator, and/or the Director of Early Learning

Qualifications:
  • Experience with early childhood childcare
  • Ability to relate to students, staff, and parents in a positive manner
  • Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Be punctual and have good attendance
  • Able to follow written and oral instructions
  • Able to move in and around the building
