Description The assistant to the office of the superintendent provides support to the superintendent, executive assistant to the superintendent, deputy superintendent, and communications department. The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist the executive assistant to the superintendent with the daily duties related to the superintendent and the Board of Education. This position will act as the back up Board of Education secretary which will require attending evening events and occasional weekend dates.

Requirments:
  • High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree Preferred
  • Three years in secretarial work, preferably at an executive or managerial level.
  • Advanced or expert proficiency in word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
  • Accounting skills, writing skills, grammar and spelling; ability to compose correspondence.
  • Ability to keep accurate records, files and reports.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly, work independently, performing individual projects and routine matters with minimal direction or supervision.
  • Must have the ability to think clearly in stressful situations.
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and prompt
