JOB SUMMARY

  • Under direct supervision, review and validate data from clinical and laboratory studies. Analyze data and write statistical sections of Clinical Study Reports (CSRs).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with organizing, updating, and validating data from clinical and laboratory studies.
  • With guidance from senior team members, write statistical analysis plans (SAP) for studies.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with determining appropriate sample size to achieve study goals (i.e. "Power study").
  • Design simple randomization schedules for studies needing randomization.
  • Assist with writing statistical sections of Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), clinical trial documents, and other protocols.
  • Help create tabular and graphical data displays.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.

Work Experience

  • Experience conducting statistical tests (e.g. t-tests, ANOVAs, linear regression) for the purposes of hypothesis testing.

ADDITIONAL

  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships within and between teams.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least one year of experience conducting statistical tests (e.g. t-tests, ANOVAs, linear regression)for the purposes of hypothesis testing.

ADDITIONAL

  • Experience with SAS (Statistical Analysis Software) and/or power analysis software (e.g. PASS, G*Power)

    Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
