Salary Range: New hires will be set at $16.50 per hour

Essential Functions and Objectives:
The Special Education Substitute Paraprofessional supports teachers in meeting the behavioral, social-emotional, physical and daily living needs of students with severe/profound disabilities primarily in school settings, but also in the community. May assist with lifting and transporting of students, as well as daily living activities such as toileting, diapering, feeding, and personal hygiene as trained and directed. Substitutes are assigned to schools as needed by the department of Student Services.
Daily assignments are not always available or known in advance. Availability and flexibility to be on call with your assigned school as well as ability to communicate effectively regarding your schedule are required. More information can be provided during the interview process.
