Position: Summer 2025 (temporary) Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Pay Rate: $16.50 hour
Open Date: 5/30/2025 Closing Date: 6/22/2025

Essential Job Functions:
The Summer Plumber Assistant position will be required to assist the Plumbers in our facilities department.

Qualifications:
  • Proven stable employment history, maintain punctuality, excellent attendance record and motivation to consistently perform quality work
  • Must maintain a good work ethic and willingness to follow written, verbal and demonstrated instructions
  • Must be able to do physical labor indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions
  • Must be able to perform duties that require extensive walking, standing, repetitive arm motions, repeated lifting, reaching, twisting, bending, and turning during normal shift
  • Must be able to use a variety of hand tools
  • Must be able to lift and/or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, for all job-related duties and response to safety emergencies as well as follow verbal, written, and/or demonstrated instruction
  • Must be able to pass thorough background investigation, physical, and drug test
