Job Summary/Purpose: Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of vocational nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education: Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and one year of LPN experience.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state. One year of LPN experience preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
