PER ABOSA Contract, full year, full time

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain High School Records
- Responsible for overseeing the withdrawal of students and sending records when necessary.
- Provide transcripts for summer programs and scholarships
- Process transcript release requests for past graduates
- Support counselors during the college application process
- Coordinate and complete necessary information for the National Merit Semi-Finalist Applications
- Complete Credit Updates for new students and students in out-of-district programs.
- Put awards for students on their transcripts
- Verification of graduation for past graduates
- Support Issuing Work Permits
- Coordinate course approval, communication, and issuing transcripts for NCAA/Clearinghouse for student-athlete eligibility
Scheduling and PowerSchool:

  • Prepare data for the three annual DESE student data reporting cycles
  • Support the scheduling by preparing PowerSchool for the online course request process, assist in building the schedule, resolve schedule conflicts, assist with schedule changes during the school year, and manage bell schedules in PS
  • Provide data support for various school functions including student rosters, empty room tracking, gpa/wgpa lists, waitlists, post-grad plans, Oct 1 Class Size report, and MassCore reporting
  • Support teachers in use of PowerSchool electronic gradebook
  • Review, run, and electronically send quarterly report cards
  • Prepare and send translated reports to families
  • Maintain student information, such as demographic data and grades, within the PowerSchool student information system (SIS)
  • Respond to needs of students in the use of PowerSchool accounts
