•T-Mobile is looking for someone like you to join a team of highly qualified and motivated engineers to work on innovative Service Now platform development solutions to meet our growing customer needs. This role interacts with customers, drive solutions, performs feasibility analysis of requirements, products, features, and service, support Lab and Staging validation of these new services/platforms and ensures a successful rollout. May be involved in multiple projects and have responsibility for one or more of those projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Engineering Services

  • Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Encouraged to supervise base and associate level engineers as needed.
  • Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Encouraged to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology is expected. Interact with system engineers to define system requirement and/or necessary requirements for automation.

Innovation

  • Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which use new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service.
  • Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives.
  • Understands the creation of company IPR.

Technical Leadership

  • Collaborates with technical teams and uses system expertise to deliver technical solutions.
  • Continuously learns and guides others existing and new technologies.
  • Chips in to the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions.

Technology Strategy

  • Gives to new and existing technology options that support business goals.
  • Understands current technology that supports business goals. Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Encouraged to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology is encouraged. Interact with system engineers to define system requirement and/or vital requirements for automation.

Technical Writing

  • Writes basic documentation on how technology works. Builds clear documentation for new code and systems used.
  • Documenting systems designs, presentations, and business requirements for consumption and consideration at the manager level.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:

Required:

  • 4 plus years Technical engineering experience.

Preferred:

  • Expertise with JavaScript, Jelly Script, or PowerShell Script 
  • Experienced with Catalog Item/Workflow development, Asset Configuration Items (CI)
  • Experienced with Agile Safe methodology
  • 5+ years experience with ServiceNow ITAM (specifically HAM)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer / Certified System Administrator
  • IT Warehouse and data center Logistics experience is a plus
  • Experience with hardware fulfillment, inventory and distribution workflows in HAM
  • SAM experience is a plus
  • Experienced with Developing and troubleshooting scoped Applications
