JOB SUMMARY

Under minimum supervision, manage product portfolio development strategy and execution, provide financial estimate to support overall business planning of the product portfolios. Lead market research/due diligence for new opportunity or acquisition targets.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate new product opportunities based on scientific merit, clinical efficacy, and market opportunity.

Lead new product opportunities negotiations

Conduct effective market research and translate that research into new products, product improvements, or line extensions by building effective business cases to enable decision making.

Lead the cross functional team of GSO/QA/RA/R&D/vendor to move development projects forward.

Establish clinical/scientific evidence needs and work with medical affairs/clinical operation to develop scientific/clinical studies to support new/existing products.

Lead due diligence research for acquisition targets when assigned.

Lead supply chain restoration/strengthening plan when assigned.

Provide project oversight and coaching to junior members of the development team as needed.

Education & Relevant Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical major and at least 5 years of experience in product management or product portfolio development, or Ph.D. in a STEM field of study and minimum of 3 years of working experience in a related field

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Strong quantitative/analytical/communication skills, Proficient in Excel/Powerpoint/Word. Strong business/financial acumen. Willing to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
