OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

“The Laboratory for HIV & COVID-19 Vaccine Research & Development’s research focuses on neutralizing antibody responses, a key component of many successful vaccines for various infectious diseases. We’re seeking qualified applicants to be part of this internationally recognized laboratory for providing standardized assessments of neutralizing antibody responses in preclinical and clinical HIV and COVID-19 vaccine studies.”

Duties:

· Perform neutralization assays in various cell lines for SARS-CoV-2 and HIV Studies

· Coordinate data reporting for statistical analysis for various studies/projects

· Confer with PI in developing future assay plans

· Interpret, analyze, and report data

· Maintain GCLP records and procedures

· Maintenance of cell lines

· Determine and set up instruments, material and operate laboratory equipment

· Train and instruct lower level employees and/or visiting scientists

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Work requires a bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field.

Experience

Work requires four years of research experience. A related master's OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE degree may offset required years of experience on a 1:1 basis, e.g., a two year master's degree in lieu of two years of experience.
