Job Description Summary
Assists in facilitating the Medical University Hospital Authority’s revenue cycle through maintenance of charging tools with considerations of third party payer requirements. Collaborate with all personnel involved in the service, documentation, charges, claims and reimbursement cycle.Job Description
Conducts surveys and studies of problems and needs; makes recommendations to appropriate officials. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the status of assigned program area(s). Reviews, evaluates and reports on assigned program area. Provides technical assistance to staff, management, the public and other governmental entities. Takes and processes routine program requests from customers. Supervises employees as needed.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a minimum of two years work experience in hospital revenue cycle operations related to charging, coding and reimbursement required. Medical terminology and CRCA Certification preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: CRCA certification preferred.
