We are currently looking for a Principal Technology Architect to Join our Digital Informatics and Technology Solutions team. In this role the Technology Architect will help build customizable specific system solutions that enhance our Research and SKI capabilities.
You Will:
- Design, propose, and deliver solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies.
- Facilitate the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise.
- Review and advise on standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
- Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
- Approve and modify designs and architectures to ensure compliance.
- Assist in the development of and manages an architecture governance process.
- Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate.
You Have!
- Experience working in a large-scale research based HPC environment
- Proven experience working with distributed file storage solutions (i.e., GPFS)
- Experience with deploying and troubleshooting Linux Operating Systems (RHEL/CentOS)
- Experience with Scripting and Automation (Ansible, Python, Shell Scripting)
- Solid understanding of job schedulers (LSF/SLURM)
- Experience with GPU-based compute infrastructure (including CUDA)
