General Statement of Duties
The employee in this classification provides instruction to students in Henrico County Public Schools. This position is for the 2022-23 school year.
- Follows lesson plans submitted by the regular classroom teacher
- Ensures classroom management
- Serves appropriate duty assignments
- Leaves appropriate documentation for the teacher
- Performs other duties as assigned by the school
Permanent Substitute Teacher:
o Have at least 60 credit hours, an Associate's Degree or a Bachelor's degree
o Have completed the Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention training Recognition and Intervention training All Substitute Positions require a Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention certificate. Daily Sub Rates:
HIRING WILL BE HANDLED BY THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL.
