Participates in the day-to-day operations in clinical research. Responsible for more advanced skilled research assessments and will serve as a liaison for the study across stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of research best practices and regulations, and they will have the ability to apply these concepts in order to determine action plans. Job Duties:
35% - Reporting and Activation Project Management
- Conduct evidence-based medicine projects.
- Run various statistical analyses as required by the projects, coordinate research teams, and help write research protocols.
- Correspond with Institutional Review Boards.
35% - Data Analysis and Presentation
- Selects sampling techniques and coordinates the collection and compilation of numerical data and program information.
- Prepare reports on statistical methods and results of their application to data analysis projects.
- Prepare analysis using Stata
- Presenting data during lab meetings
- Preparing publication quality figures, may be involved in writing of manuscripts.
- Efforts will directly contribute to grant applications and manuscripts.
25% - Maintain research data for ongoing projects
5% - other duties as assigned by PI
Preferred Experience & Additional Skills:. Master’s degree or previous experience in biostatistics, psychology and/or the skills listed under Job Duties below preferred.
MUSC Minimum Training and Experience Requirements:
A high school diploma and two years work experience as a Statistical and Research Analyst I.. A bachelor's degree with mathematics and/or statistics courses may be substituted for the required work experience.
