This individual will be responsible for leading the MRI and CT departments along with the Imaging staff of Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency Medical Center, playing a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily operations of the imaging services. Job Description

This individual will be responsible for leading the MRI and CT departments along with the Imaging staff of Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency Medical Center, playing a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily operations of the imaging services. Shares supervising of the radiology staff and modality lead technologists, actively participating in employee evaluations as required by the radiology administration. Leads efforts to ensure the smooth delivery of patient care, actively engaging with departmental goals, policies, quality programs, budgets, and statistical analysis.
Maintains registry in at least one modality of CT or MR and can function as a technologist when needed. Understanding of Radimetrics, PenLung tracking, Dynacad, and Syngo via follow-ups.
Associate or bachelor's degree completed at an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association with five years of Radiologic Technology experience. Imaging supervisory experience five years required. Must be registered in CT and/or MRI modality. Must be open to obtain CT or MR registry if currently possess only one modality registry.
Rotates departmental administrator on-call.

Education:

Must be registered in CT and/or MRI modality. Must be open to obtain CT or MR registry if currently possess only one modality registry.
Experience: At least 5 years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required. At least 5 years’ experience as a CT/MR technologist is required. Must have a minimum of 5 years of radiology department supervisory experience. Additional degrees in business highly preferred.
Must be CPR certified. Rotates departmental administrator on-call.
