Job Description

Responsible for verifying patients' insurance coverage and obtaining prior authorizations for outpatient exams. Locate and research supporting documentation to submit to insurance companies for prior authorizations. Follow-up on pending authorizations, provider peer-to-peer requests, and denied accounts. Send admitting notifications to insurance companies for patients and Case Management. Follow up on observation and inpatient accounts for status changes.

Education: High School Degree or Equivalent
