Perform complex technical scanning utilizing cardiac ultrasound. Imaging acquisition is composed of M-Mode, 2-D, Doppler and Color Flow Doppler to complete an Echocardiogram. Anatomic and physiologic data of the heart are vital importance in the diagnosis of various types of heart disease. Recognizing the disease states, knowing how to operate the equipment, and obtaining optimal studies is dependent on the echo technologist.Entity

Additional Job Description
Education: Graduation from a Cardiovascular / Ultrasound program or equivalent experience and ARDMS or CCI registry eligible.
Work Experience:
One year of training/experience in performing cardiac ultrasound procedures both 2D and Doppler preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and hemodynamics desired.
